Terms of Service

Welcome to Sew Radiant. By enrolling in classes, workshops, private lessons, parties, or events, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Programs & Participation

Sew Radiant provides sewing education for children through lessons, workshops, parties, and pop-up events. Participation is voluntary and involves the use of sewing tools and equipment.

2. Assumption of Risk

Sewing involves the use of needles, scissors, and machines. By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and agree that Sew Radiant is not responsible for injuries resulting from normal participation in sewing activities.

3. Sewing Machines & Personal Property

If a student brings their own sewing machine, it must include:

  • A working power cord

  • Presser foot

  • Foot pedal

  • All-purpose needle

All personal machines and supplies are used at the child’s own responsibility. Sew Radiant is not responsible for loss, damage, or repairs to personal equipment.

4. Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Children must be dropped off 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson start time. Prompt pick-up is required at the end of class.

5. Payments, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Payment is required to secure a spot.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

  • Missed classes or late cancellations are non-refundable.

  • Refunds, credits, or rescheduling are issued at Sew Radiant’s discretion.

6. Behavior & Safety

Students are expected to follow instructions and behave respectfully. Sew Radiant reserves the right to remove a child from a session if behavior is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.

7. Photography & Media

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Sew Radiant may take photos or videos during classes for promotional purposes. Parents may opt out by notifying Sew Radiant in writing.

8. Changes & Cancellations

Sew Radiant reserves the right to modify schedules, instructors, projects, or cancel classes due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances.

9. Agreement

By booking a class or signing below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.

Sew Radiant respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Parent/guardian name

  • Child’s first name

  • Child's age

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Booking and payment information

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

  • Process registrations and payments

  • Communicate about classes and events

  • Send updates, reminders, or marketing emails/texts

  • Improve our services

3. Payments

Payments are processed through secure third-party providers (such as Wix Payments, Stripe, Square, or PayPal). Sew Radiant does not store full credit card information.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information may be shared only with service providers necessary to operate our business (payment processors, email services).

5. Data Protection

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Children’s Privacy

We collect information from parents or guardians for the purpose of enrolling children in programs. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children without parental consent.

7. Your Rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

8. Updates to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be posted on this page.
